The cogito foundation aims to achieve a better understanding of the scientific way of thinking among the general public. It also strives to show the importance of basic scientific research.
To this end, the foundation supports activities and projects within Switzerland that aim to strengthen the understanding of quantitative, scientific thinking. Here, the focus should not be on the dissemination of the latest research results, but rather on the process of the Scientific method and the implications of its most basic tenants.
